Empowering Unemployed Rural Youth through NULM Programme in Jharkhand
Aryabhatt Educational and Health trust is actively involved in the empowerment of unemployed rural youth through the NULM (National Urban Livelihood Mission) program. As a key player in this initiative, the trust is dedicated to transforming the lives of these youth by providing them with the necessary skills to become economically independent. NULM, being the flagship skill training program of the Government of India, offers a comprehensive residential training program that emphasizes placement opportunities.
Aryabhatt Educational and Health trust has successfully implemented multiple projects under the NULM program. In Project 1, the trust has trained 1,589 individuals, and an impressive 1,272 of them have secured placements. Similarly, Project 2 has witnessed the training of 1,265 individuals, with 1,033 of them successfully placed. Under Project 3, the trust has trained 1,618 individuals, and an outstanding 1,520 of them have found placements. These achievements reflect the dedication and effectiveness of the trust’s collaboration with NULM.
Since 2014, Aryabhatt Educational and Health trust has trained and placed over 8,000 trainees in various sectors such as Apparel, Sheet Metal Worker, and Health Care. By equipping rural youth with the essential skills needed for sustainable employment, the trust is actively contributing to their socio-economic growth and fostering the overall development of Jharkhand. Through their efforts, they are successfully transforming unemployed rural youth into an economically independent workforce, enabling them to lead fulfilling and prosperous lives.
